    Calzados Ballester has been making ladies footwear in Inca for half a century. “The leather city” on the island of Majorca is well known for its lengthy footwear tradition and excellent raw materials. The company combines craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology, making comfort its top priority. Its innovatively-designed, practical and ultra-feminine shoes – sold under the Ballco brand – are of the highest quality.

    Ballco exports 10,000 shoes a year, the equivalent of 25% of its output. Its main destinations are the USA, Japan and Europe. The company is now expanding, in an attempt to boost its position in Japan through agreements with local partners. In Europe, it is running a promotional campaign aimed at Britain and Eastern European markets. Growth in the USA, through the multi-brand channel, is also on the cards.

    Ballco’s expansion has been made possible by the work of its representatives and by participation in tradeshows like MICAM (Milan), Modacalzado (Madrid) and Spain Shoes Exhibition (Tokyo).
