Pepa Karnero was created in 1992 as a Spanish women’s wear and accessories label with a colourful, original style. The designer from Malaga behind the brand seeks to offer top quality at affordable prices and makes use of the work of street artists in her prints for a fresh look which is half naïve, half underground.
The first Pepa Karnero boutique opened in Malaga in the mid-nineties and six more have opened since (in Madrid, Pamplona, Cordoba, Granada and two more in Malaga). The label also has 430 multi-brand points of sale in Europe and Japan. It is a regular at trade conventions both at home (SIMM in Madrid and Bread & Butter in Barcelona) and abroad (Bread & Butter Berlin and Prêt-à-Porter in Paris).
As a young, family-firm in direct contact with its market, Pepa Karnero has been able to fulfil its growth ambitions, successfully establishing itself in major European capitals and strengthening its brand image.
