In 1986, Franck and Gilbert created fashion brand Paco Chicano. Defined by creative originality, the brand’s clothes are proof of the artistic sensitivity and aesthetic feel instilled in the brothers from Murcia by their cathedral-restorer father and couturier mother.

The star of the brand’s collection is the T-shirt. More than just a garment, it is a way of communicating a message. The Paco Chicano style looks to kitsch for its colours and values. Love, romanticism, ecology, peace, childhood and religious iconography are some of the favourite motifs.

Paco Chicano took part in Bread & Butter Barcelona in January and June 2006 and in Who´s Next in Paris in September 2006. Its products are sold by leading multi-brand retailers in Barcelona, Ibiza and other Spanish cities like Lorca and Palencia.

The brand has ambitious global objectives and is already on sale in countries like Japan, Germany, Russia, France, Italy, Greece, Germany, Austria, Japan, Portugal and Saudi Arabia.

Franck and Gilbert’s other brands include Niños de Lorca, created in 1989, and ROS, created in 1993. They also work with leading international brands like Kookai and designed some of the wardrobe for Robert Altman’s Prêt-à-porter [Ready to Wear].
