In 1942, Emiliano Suárez Faffián founded a jewellery workshop in his native city Bilbao. Little did he know that this tiny shop would plant the seed for what was to become one of Spain’s biggest names in the sector: the Suárez Group.
In 1975, now in its second generation, the family opened another shop in Bilbao on Calle Ercilla. In 1982, the opening of their first shop in Madrid – on Calle Serrano – marked a qualitative leap in the expansion process. A second shop came later on the same street and this was followed by Suárez’s first boutique in Barcelona, on the Passeig de Gracia, consolidating the brand’s image and prestige.
Suárez products cover every area of jewellery, from rings and ear-rings to necklaces, bracelets and brooches, not forgetting a complete range of pearls. The brand sells its own watch collections and distributes other world-class brands.
Its jewellery collections are the essence of traditional craftsmanship with the right amount of originality to make them exclusive and up-to-date. The products are made in the brand’s own workshops, using the finest materials imported from all over the world. At that point, the cogs of a finely-tuned process are set in motion, with the aim of producing jewellery of the very finest calibre. Classification, carving, design, jewellery-studio, gem selection, mounting, quality control and after-sales service are the key stages in this production procedure.
The brand’s fifth shop is due to open shortly in Marbella (Málaga).
