EBP stands for Eduard Ballester Pi, designer and conceptual artist, versed in different artistic genres. Born in Girona in 1978, he trained in advertising art at the Escuela de Arte de Olot and in multimedia and fashion design at the Istituto Europeo di Design. He worked with Spanish fashion brands Yono Taola, Ángel Vilda, Por Fin! and Labicha before creating his own menswear brand, based in his native city. Ballester uses men’s tailoring and perfect craftsmanship to deconstruct form and break away from traditional apparel.

He made his catwalk debut in 2004, when he presented La familia at the Murcia Open Catwalk. His next three collections – Where’s your head at?, Vota’m and Entroiía – took him to Barcelona’s Gaudí Catwalk, and 2006 marked the start of a global career when Entrañas appeared at Who’s Next in Paris and at Bread & Butter. In September of the same year, Niños de Dios was presented at Ego Cibeles and the designer hopes to join the line-up in the main section of the Madrid catwalk, which has recently given menswear a boost.

EBP collections are sold at an exclusive selection of multi-brand boutiques in Barcelona (Suite), Madrid (Where, Infanta Terrible) and Bilbao (Serie B). Outside Spain, it has POS in Italy and short-term plans to enter the USA, France and Japan by taking part in major tradeshows.
