Luxoir´s interview

Men’s wear label Luxoir is the work of designer duo Antoine Navarro and Víctor Pao, both from the worlds of art, photography, fashion and design. Luxoir is a design-oriented venture which creates fashion from a different perspective, exploring men’s streetwear through bold, unconventional garments.

Luxoir Casual Wear was presented at Valencia’s Festival Este in 2004 and would mark the start of a highly successful, though as yet short, career. In the meantime, the label has become a regular fixture at top Spanish fashion platforms, including the newcomer designer section of the Gaudí Catwalk in September 2004 and February 2005, and Barcelona Fashion Week. Ever since, it has taken part in the official section of the Gaudí Catwalk, and its successor the Pasarel.la Barcelona.

Luxoir also takes part in Bread & Butter Barcelona, and appeared at one of the fair’s last editions in Berlin. This qualitative leap in their development as designers is indicative of their growing international significance.

In 2007, Luxoir made their first appearance at men’s wear exhibition Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence and will be presenting a collection for autumn-winter 07/08 at the Cibeles Catwalk in Madrid for the first time.
