Raquel Moreno graduated in Fine Arts and specialised in sculpture but soon chose jewellery as the outlet for her creative talents and artistic sensitivities. First in Paris and then in Madrid, she worked with leading auction houses, cataloguing jewellery and antiques and has always had close links with the world of fashion.
In 2001, Raquel Moreno launched her first collection of jewellery, which was acclaimed for the intricacy and construction of each piece. Inspired by flora and fauna and based on enamel, this highly personal and vitalistic collection – comprising rings, bracelets, belts, pendants and items for men – was an instant success with the public.
Today Raquel Moreno’s creations are sold in Spain and at leading European retailers like Harvey Nichols in London. The designer’s collections are also available in America, Japan and the Middle East. Her clients include top international labels like Liberty, Paul & Joe and Paul Smith.
Moreno has regularly worked with fashion designers on the catwalk. Her next step will be the launch of her own range of home products.
