  • PROFILE

Everyday but unique. These are the two attributes that sum up the philosophy of Spanish womenswear brand Lebor Gabala, which takes its name from “The Book of Invasions”, a 12th-century Gaelic manuscript.

Designer Maite Muñoz opts for garments intended for daily use: comfortable clothes simple in appearance but with meticulously-created forms and proportions. The final result is a relaxed, ultra-cool and very urban silhouette.

The choice of soft and exquisite materials, like cashmere, wool, cotton and silk, is designed to produce agreeable sensations in the people who wear Lebor Gabala. Colour contrasts and attractive, even bold choices of shades, are another brand trademark.

Lebor Gabala complements its collections with gloves and hats in the same luxury materials, and with worn-look tees to layer and coordinate.

Founded in 1989 in Barcelona, Lebor Gabala has a team of five and an export rate of 30%. Its designs are available in exclusive shops in France, Japan and the US, as well as other major markets. Lebor Gabala presents its collections at the prestigious exhibition Paris Sur Mode.
