Designer Celeste Galiano was born in Madrid in 1978 and graduated in fashion design from Istituto Europe di Design in Madrid. She also completed courses at the prestigious design schools Central Saint Martin’s in London and the London College of Fashion in London and Florence.

She started out her career at the international company Fake London, where she discovered her vocation as a furrier and developed her first collection for Italian brand SOLE by Soledad Twombly. She later became Accessories Design Assistant at luxury brand Alfred Dunhill. She has also worked with brands like Peggy Huynh, Bill Amberg and Connolly, developing different bag collections, leather and fur accessories, and has created her own brand: CLST Celeste.

Based in Barcelona, CLST Celeste is a high-end brand which has always backed the quality concept “Made in Spain”. Every item, for both men and women, is made in Ubrique (Cádiz), from the very best leather and nappa, as well as innovations based on new-age materials.

Bags are the designer’s specialty and are defined by their combination of design, quality and practicality. As the designer herself puts it, “My brand reflects my spirit and style, and always focuses on the comfort of the end consumer.” Galiano creates elegant designs in simple lines in a marked retro style which stand the test of time.

The company has just extended its portfolio, adding its first men’s and a unisex line to its womenswear collection, sticking to the same principles of quality, design and style.

Since it was created, the brand has been presenting collections at global tradeshow Premier Classe Paris. Its bags can be found at select boutiques in France, Italy, Belgium, Britain, Germany, USA, Japan and Korea, and its export rate is 90%.
