    Anubis Cosmetics was set up in Barcelona in October 1981. Its founder, José María Sainz, already had lengthy experience in the beauty sector when he decided to embark on a new venture with his wife Montserrat Valls. The aim was to develop effective cosmetic products, offering an integral service in keeping with the technical needs of beauty and wellness professionals.

    Since the outset, the brand has had a three-pronged philosophy based on the quality of its customer service, its product and its personnel. As a family firm, Anubis offers personalised service with a win-win vocation and ongoing training for staff and clients. To guarantee a state-of-the-art product, it has a modern research and development centre in Sabadell (Barcelona), which uses high-tech machinery for continuing research. All its departments, from lab and R&D staff to sales personnel — a total workforce of 25 — are customer-oriented.

    Anubis Cosmetics has more than 200 face, body and spa references, including its top-end anti-age line Effectivity, made with gold, diamond, caviar and pearl and its Bio line, certified by Ecocert France.

    Global expansion has always been a company priority and its export rate stands at 65%. It currently operates at beauty centres, spas, luxury hotels, on cruise ships and in leading medical spas in more than 27 countries. Anubis Cosmetics plans to consolidate its position in Asia, to continue growth in Europe, the Middle East and Central America and move into the US, India, Russia and Turkey.

    The brand takes part in professional cosmetics tradeshows including Cosmoprof Bologna (Italy) and Cosmoprof Hong Kong (Asia).
