Founded by Jaume Julià in 1981 and with head office in the Catalan town of Santa Coloma de Farners (Girona), Joid'art blends creativity, contemporaneity and craftsmanship in silver designer jewellery, the essence of femininity.
Since the outset, every piece of jewellery created by the Spanish brand strikes a perfect balance through simplicity, with a style that pays attention to detail and with lines that turn freshness into gems. Silver is wrought into shapes, colours and relief which gain strength through movement.
Behind each article lies detailed creative research and careful observation of the world around us, seeking out new forms of expression, which are then transformed into unique collections and partnerships with outside designers. A hundred new collections are launched each year, and divided into the lines Joid’art autor, Filigrana de Joid’art, Joid’art Plus and Turini de Joid’art.
With a workforce of 76, the brand currently has 15 standalones and operates at more than 2,500 POS in markets like France, Germany, Britain, Hungary, Portugal, Switzerland and Greece, with turnover of €600,000 and international sales of 15%.
Its ongoing commitment to the creative process and the globalisation of its product has brought it prestigious accolades, including the “Etoile de mode” at Eclat de Mode 2007 (Bijhorca, Paris), an international exhibition it regularly attends, as it does Inhorgenta in Munich (Germany).
