    Interview with Barcarola.

Barcarola offers one of the most elaborate collections of Spanish children’s wear. It designs, manufactures and distributes clothes for youngsters, specialising in ceremonial wear, and takes it name from the folk song sung by Venetian gondoliers.

With its head office in Aldaya (Valencia) and a workforce of 16, this family firm has been operating in the kidswear market for more than 20 years. In 2002, when a new generation took over, it created Alas de Ícaro, S.L., the company that markets the brand.

The garment manufacturing process includes a substantial hand-crafted component and meticulous quality assurance.

With an export rate of 30%, Barcarola is sold in department stores and carefully chosen boutiques in Spain, Mexico, Portugal, Italy, the UK, Russia, Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Libya.

Barcarola is a regular at leading international trade fairs, including Pitti Bimbo (Florence), Fimi (Valencia), SIMM (Madrid), Intermoda Guadalajara (Mexico), CPM Moscow and Bubble (London).
