Streetwear brand Smash! was created in 1998 in Amsterdam, with strong links to the Dutch capital’s clubbing scene. In 2004 it moved to Barcelona, where it has drawn on the creative and cosmopolitan spirit of the Mediterranean city.

Smash! then went on to adopt its “Happy Revolution” philosophy, reflected by colourful garments and urban accessories with a fresh rebellious feel and a new approach to fashion seen from a perspective of freedom, authenticity and the joy of life. In short, it offers trendy, colourful and combinable designs for young non-conformists who want their own identity.

In 2010 it set up in Badalona (Barcelona), where it has premises of 3,000 square metres capable of producing 20,000 garments a day. Its human capital, with 10 designers who cooperate closely with graphic and pattern designers, comes from all over the world.

Every season, Smash! studies and redesigns patterns to adapt to changing trends. Its women’s collections comprise more than 500 garments with updated prints, the brand’s strength and trademark.

Last year Smash! grew by 20% and are present in 66 countries with over 4,500 international points of sale, and selling over one million garments a year.

Today, it has five standalones (three in Saudi Arabia and two in Spain), as well as an online shop.

Smash! will continue to grow by opening new points of sale and various concept stores in strategic locations in the United Arab Emirates, as well as steadily expanding new lines.

Smash’s first footwear line and the Smashing Girls collection have had a great success. They have been distributed in 21 countries, from Europe, to Canada, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates.

For several seasons, it has taken part in Who’s Next y Prêt-à-porter (París), Mi Milano y Macef (Milán), SIMM (Madrid), Mode Fabriek (Amsterdam), Bread & Butter (Berlin), CIFF (Copenhagen), Magic (Las Vegas), Pure y London Edge (London) y The Brandery (Barcelona)
