Founded in 1961 in Sant Boi de Llobregat (Barcelona) by Dr. Giménez Labrador, Lendan (Cosmética Técnica, S.A.) researches, develops and manufactures cosmetic products for the hair-dressing and the professional beauty sector.
The brand employs 120 people and uses all its own technology to develop ranges which it adapts to the needs of a constantly evolving professional market. A strong commitment to the environment means it does not test its products on animals and uses formulae developed from biotechnology and ingredients from the plant and animal kingdoms.
The research conducted in Dr Giménez Labrador’s laboratories has led to major discoveries like anti-free-radical cosmetics, cytokines – or “growth factors” to combat hair loss – facial skin and shock fluids, and the option of personalising body treatment protocols.
Today, the Lendan includes 500 referents to treat hair, face and body.
The company has distributors in 42 countries and a subsidiary in Mexico. A total 25% of sales are generated on the international market.
