Paramita was created more than fifteen years ago in Atarfe, Granada, as a brand of women’s T-shirts ‘with a message’. The graphics call on us to break away from social conventions which only serve to make life more complicated. Today it offers much more, including a range of comfortable tops, dresses, skirts, blazers, shirts and mini-skirts all in bright colours, with bold slogans and fun graphics.
Its youthful, practical and urban dresses are the star of its collections. Paramita has also transferred its philosophy to a line of accessories, which includes doctor bags, shoulder and travel bags and clasp purses in colourful shades.
Paramita has a network of ten standalone shops in Spain and showrooms in Milan, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Athens, New York, Los Angeles and Montreal. It will soon be opening in Denmark, the Middle East and Asia.
Paramita exports 60% of its output and its collections are available from multibrand points of sale in France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Greece, UK, Canada, USA and Portugal. The mid-term aim is to enter countries like Norway and Austria.
The company is a regular at top trade fairs like Prêt-à-porter (Paris), CPD (Düsseldorf), The Coterie (New York), Pure (London) and the Brussels Fashion Fair.
