
Bridalwear brand Novia d’Art was created in Barcelona in 1967 by the Raich Farré family after many years in the textiles business. The company had consolidated its strong position by the mid-eighties, driven by a generational transition that put Marta Raich in the position of chief executive and her sister Teresa in artistic management.
Teresa Raich, who remains as the current designer, has given the brand a classical creative style, brimming with youth and dynamism. Far from detracting from the elegance of her creations, splashes of colour and “madness” add freshness and originality.
Today, Novia d’Art is one of the key names in the European bridalwear sector as shown by growing demand for its designs all over the continent, from Portugal to Russia, and including Germany and the Netherlands. It is also popular in America which is another of its main markets. The brand distributes its collections to multi-brand boutiques in 23 countries.
It is a regular at top dates on the fashion calendar including Sposaitalia (Milan), Sposatex (Niewegein), CPD (Düsseldorf), ABC (Munich), Noviaespaña (Barcelona) and Puerta de Europa (Madrid).
