Blue Ribbon Fashion & Design specialises in the design, manufacture and sale of garments made from leather, suede and double face. The Spanish company was founded in Zaragoza in 1983 and has since positioned itself in the highest market segment, with top-class materials like the light, soft Spanish entrefino, which is known as one of the world’s best leathers. Its womenswear – which uses up-to-the-minute designs – has always made a big impact.
Designer Olga Samper took the helm of the design team in 2000, creating a distinctive style which uses leather in a more urban, modern way, with bright and attractive colours. The brand now produces new womenswear each season, but also has menswear and a bag collection. All are hand-made in Spain.
Blue Ribbon designs are available from exclusive multi-brand retailers both in Spain and abroad, in countries like Japan, Sweden, Norway and Denmark and will soon go on sale in Russia. Today, exports account for 20% of company exports.
The company takes part in major ready-to-wear and leather tradeshows in Spain, like SIMM and Iberpiel.
