The Spanish pantyhose brand owned by Exclusivas Olca was founded in 1976 in Barcelona. Its designs are aimed at women aged 30 to 50 with a good level of disposable income. Fabrics are new-age and the materials used in dyes and finishes are ecological.
Cecilia de Rafael has a workforce of 25 and is now a top brand in the sector, not just for the quality of its products, but also for introducing fashion into tights and pantyhose, which has made the essence of sophistication and versatility. The company is owned by the Samburu pantyhose brand but aimed at a younger target. It also makes seamless underwear, and the Baby Line.
Cecilia de Rafael sells to leading multi-brand retailers and big stores. It exports 15% of output, mainly to the USA and the Far East. It presents its collections at top European intimates trade fairs like Body Look Düsseldorf, and SIL Paris.
Its imminent projects include a new line in top quality cotton T-shirts in exclusive designs and in the personal Cecilia de Rafael style. It is due to go on sale in autumn-winter 08/09.
