  • PROFILE

Even though the Art Company began in 1995, its presence in the footwear sector goes back 30 years. Headquartered in La Rioja, the company designs, produces and markets two shoe brands: Art and Neosens.

Each season, Art (the more veteran of the two) features young, new and non-conformist styles. As a result of its comfort, design and innovation, as well as a marked sense of humour, its star shoe, the boot, has won over the European public. Created at the beginning of 2007, Neosens caters to a more adult public, one with an urban, refined and cosmopolitan flair. Positioning itself in the high-end shoe segment, the brand has established a presence in the top multi-brand boutiques of Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Florence, London, Berlin, Tokyo and New York.

The Art Company exports 87% of its production (some 16,500,000 euros a year) to countries including: France (300 points-of-sale), Germany (250), Switzerland (120), the United Kingdom (150) and the United States. In all, 23 European countries, 2 American and 3 Asian.

The company presents its collections at the sector’s most renowned fairs, such as Who’s next (Paris), Pure London (London), Micam (Milan) and GDS (Dusseldorf). Its short-term plans include entering new markets (thanks to its alliances with local distributors), strengthening its brand image in those markets where it is already established, continuing to participate in the fairs already on its agenda and attending new events.
