    With more than 25 years of experience behind it, the specialist Spanish knitwear brand Diktons knows how to develop a solid concept which unites tradition and modernity, by using the latest dressmaking technologies with a sophisticated, urban style. The company, with headquarters in Barcelona, has a workforce of more than 60 people. Of particular note is the important design team managed by Nuria Mora, the brand’s creative director.

    Diktons has almost 1,000 multi-brand points-of-sale distributed throughout the world of which approximately 70% are located outside Spain. The brand also has two of its own shops, one in Madrid and another in Barcelona, and various corners in department stores such as El Corte Inglés in Spain and Nordstrom in the United States. Exports, which are sent to 30 different countries, make up 60% of the company's total production.

    From the spring-summer 2008 season, the brand will be organising its own catwalk, which it hopes will be ongoing in the future. All its latest garments are shown at different sector fairs, such as CPD Düsseldorf, Who’s next (Paris), SIMM (Madrid), CPM (Moscow) and Fashion Coterie (New York).

    The company's total turnover is more than 8 million euros. Its expansion plans are focused on signing agreements with distribution groups, especially with department stores in Western European countries. Expansion in the US market and, in particular, on the west coast of the United States is another of the challenges facing the company, as well as entering countries in the Middle East and Asia through association with local companies.
