Spanish designer Katia Bandolowski and French designer Muriel Bourquin are the creative forces behind Muka, which has been offering its unusually fresh collections since 2002. Its tops, T-shirts, dresses and sweatshirts, invariably in warm colours, are characterised by a naïve style which is both urban and sensual. Cotton and lycra predominate and many of the fabrics are handmade.
Muka is aimed at an independent young woman with a strong personality, and is already a hit in a number of international markets.
The label takes part in showrooms like “Who’s next” in Paris and in "Bread & Butter" which has boosted its global position. It now sells its collections in Spain, the UK, France, Italy and Japan. Other markets of interest for the brand are the USA and Canada.
