Interview with Carmen March

Carmen March is one of Spain’s most promising new designers. Born in Majorca and a graduate in Geography and History, she decided to embark on a career in fashion and enrolled on a Fashion Design course at IADE in Madrid.

She worked with designers like Duyos&Paniagua and Larrainzar for a number of years, before setting up her latest project, Egotherapy, with Juanjo Oliva in the year 2000.

Ever since, she has designed collections in this studio-boutique in Madrid. Some have appeared on the Gaudí Catwalk, whilst her latest collection, for Spring-Summer 2006, was presented at Cibeles. This début performance met with considerable critical acclaim for its pattern design and handcrafted detail.
