The Parnasse label was created in 2002 by two designers from Barcelona, Susana Escolano and Dante Antón. Susana studied Knitted Fabric Engineering in Barcelona and Fashion Design at Madrid’s Polytechnic University and has worked under Antonio Miró and Lebor Gabala. Moreover, Dante is an anthropologist who graduated in Communications Sciences from the University of Barcelona and has broad experience in the media.

Parnasse was launched in September 2002 at Barcelona’s Gaudí Catwalk. In July 2003, the organisers of the International Fashion Fair in Japan invited the label to take part in its “Creators’ Village”, a section given over to new designers. In September 2003, Parnasse made its first appearance at Circuit and since October 2004, it has been taking part in Hortensia de Hutten’s Paris Showroom. September 2005 marked the designers’ return to Gaudí.

“Elegance and fun” is the motto of a label which designs chic, quality day and evening wear with a dash of youthful fantasy added in. Its customers are mid-high urban women with an eye for aesthetics, an idealistic innovative attitude and a sophisticated sense of humour.

Parnasse sells at multi-brand retailers and department stores in Spain’s major cities, including Barcelona, Madrid, San Sebastian, Vitoria and Santiago de Compostela. The label has recently entered the Japanese and American markets and is also available in shops in France (Dijon) and Italy (Pescara and Rome).
