Romulo Benedi S.A. is one of Aragon’s most traditional footwear firms, located in the town of Mores (Zaragoza). It was founded by Romulo Benedi more than 76 years ago. It still maintains its character as a family firm and is now managed by its third generation.
Its labels JUNGLA and JUNGLA BOOTS – both in a similar, very casual style – are devoted to leisure and aimed at a young female target. Its hallmark is its special manufacturing system, using the “stitch down” technique, where the shoe upper is turned outward around its bottom edge.
Primarily an export company, Romulo Benedi products sell well throughout the European Union and have entered new markets in recent years, including Eastern Europe, the USA, Canada, South Africa, Japan, Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia. They are also regular exhibitors at the MICAM international footwear fair in Milan (Italy).
