TheFredericHomsownwear was created in 1991 by the family firm of the same name, and is run by designer Frederic Homs and his two brothers.
Frederic Homs began his career in textile design and knitwear at the end of the seventies. Experimentation has always been a key facet of his work, and experts from different sectors – including architects, embossers and graphic designers – are all involved in his designs.
The label was initially created to give men’s wear a new look, offering a more innovative and distinctive approach to fashion. Its collections are always a lively exercise in colour and form. They make use of new fabrics and follow a meticulous production process.
The company now has a substantial production and logistics infrastructure at its head office, and is capable of handling manufacture and distribution covering more than 15 countries, including Germany, Belgium, Canada, the USA and Finland. It has two stores in Catalonia (in Barcelona and Reus) and a showroom in Paris.
