Jewellery designer Belén Bajo graduated in Fine Arts from Madrid’s Complutense University, where she studied from 1982 to 1987. She taught at the Madrid School of Jewellery Studies from 1990-94, whilst working for the family import and distribution business Barín, where she learned sales and marketing techniques.

It was in 1996 that she first presented her collection at the Iberjoya jewellery fair in Madrid, where she has exhibited regularly twice a year ever since.

The idea of creating her own jewellery label was the result of a desire to combine her enthusiasm for art with industrial design. She seeks to produce beauty and harmony in her designs, using distinctive shapes and materials to create a style of her own. At the same time, she has looked to industrial production to achieve cost-effectiveness.

The firm’s collections are now available from 90 points of sale all over Spain and will soon be exhibited at some of the sector’s top international trade shows.
