    Gocco: total look for youngsters.

    In July 2000, a group of people in Madrid decided to launch a children’s wear business venture. The result was the brand and company known as GOCCO, with every collection offering lifestyle dressing to cover every moment and occasion. Since then, it has become a household kidswear name for the 0 to 12 age range.

    The company is defined by an attractive trio of design-quality-price. The brand’s characteristic printed fabrics are made by its own design team. GOCCO is also known for its wide variety of products which range from pyjamas, nightdresses and underwear to party dresses and coats, as well as a complete collection of swimwear and accessories.

    The company currently has a workforce of 500. Since it was created, Gocco has focused on point-of-sale growth and now has a total of 152, including standalones, franchise shops and shop-in-shop. Global expansion began in 2005, with an emphasis on the franchise system, as well as its own shops. Gocco has 62 POS in Spain, 31 franchise shops, 3 outlets and 59 shop-in-shops in El Corte Inglés. Outside Spain, it operates in Mexico, Luxembourg, Lisbon and Porto. It is about to open its second shop in Portugal and make its launch in France and Poland. Its plans for 2011 include opening 17 new shops in Spain and abroad.
