    Habit is the brand under which Aguirre y Cía sells its fashion designs. Originally a family firm, Aguirre y Cía was created in 1951, as a sports distributor. It now has a major sports division which operates under the John Smith label, a leading Spanish brand and fourth in the turnover ranking in the Spanish sports market.

    More recently, the firm developed its Habit streetwear line (footwear and clothing), aimed at a young, urban consumer. Ambiguity is the Habit watchword and it likes to ensure its clothes have a touch of the distinctive about them. Based on the concept of “habit”, everyday lifestyles are the source of inspiration of Habit collections. Its creative team research their subject closely, extracting ideas which they can express through different designs, and with a very special style.

    Habit has always been an outward-looking brand with an international vocation and has made a forceful entry into foreign markets through multi-brand retailers. Italy, France, Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal and Japan are some of the countries where it is represented. In Spain, it has about 150 outlets. It regularly exhibits at the world’s most innovative, cutting-edge fairs, including Bread & Butter in Berlin, Who´s Next in Paris and Pitti Uomo in Florence.
