Clan Bilbao came into being in 1999 producing knitwear to fill a niche in the children’s wear sector.
Expertise in the materials used, careful choice and mastery of the techniques involved have all helped consolidate the firm’s position in the tricky children’s knitwear market.
Quality and good taste are the hallmarks of its products and Clan Bilbao creates elegant, classical garments that are designed to last. Nevertheless, the collections still make room for the latest trends and the design team give the clothes a carefully understated hint of modernism and a special touch of exclusivity.
Clan Bilbao exports garments worth Euro 200,000 every year. Although at present it has no plans to open stores of its own, its designs are already sold in countries like Mexico and Portugal. It is taking part in major exhibitions like Mexico’s International Children’s Fair and the FIMI International Catwalk (Valencia) that have enabled the firm to go global.
