    Martínez Valero has a lengthy tradition as a company specialising in women’s footwear. It was started in the nineteen fifties by Manuel Martínez Valero, an entrepreneur with great international vision. In less than twenty years, its total production was dedicated to foreign markets and in 1982, the firm decided to open their first commercial branch in New York. The Spanish firm has its own shop on Third Avenue, right in the heart of Manhattan.

    Most of the firm’s exports currently go to the US, countries in the European Union, Canada, Russia and Japan. It produces more than half a million pairs of shoes each year, of which more than 90% are sold outside the Spanish domestic market.

    The brand is positioned at the upper end of the market and seeks to satisfy the needs of women who are not only looking for top-quality materials and finish, but who are also style- and fashion-conscious.
