The history of El Caballo goes back to the end of the 19th century. The firm started as a small tack workshop for saddles, bridles and farming instruments located next to La Maestranza bullring in Seville.
José Rodríguez Zapata turned this traditional workshop into a modern company. El Caballo creates leather and textile collections inspired by horse and hunting motifs. The firm skilfully combines traditional values (the handcrafted treatment of its garments, the hand waxing and reinforced stitching) with the latest advances as seen by brand new creative director Nicolas Vaudelet.
Today its designs are produced in a Seville factory and distributed to more than 32 stores all over Spain, Portugal, Mexico and Panama.
