Fluchos manufactures shoes for men and women in Arnedo, La Rioja, one of Spain’s main footwear production areas. A family-run business, founded in 1962, it combines cutting-edge technology with traditional techniques. Even today the shoes are sewn by hand.
To live up to its slogan “Total Comfort”, Fluchos optimises ventilation, waterproofness and sole cushioning. The brand even has a conductive shoe which gets rid of static electricity and an ergonomic version to reduce tension in legs and back, as well as stimulating blood circulation.
The brand first went global in 1987 and exports have increased ever since, accounting for 40% of production. France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Portugal are its main export markets, although it has clients in forty different countries.
Fluchos has 2,500 sales points all over the world, 1,700 of which are in Spain, and it produces more than 1.5m pairs of shoes each year.
