Bóboli´s interview

Star textil is a children’s clothing company. The company was founded in 1981 by Francisco Algás and is based in Mataró (Barcelona). It creates and sells the Bóboli line, a brand name well-known worldwide.

Today Bóboli has its own stores, several franchises. A distribution network in Spain positions the brand in top children’s stores. Its products are also available throughout Europe, the Arab States, the Far East, the USA and South America. Since the opening of its first store the firm has remained committed to its investment strategy: set up its own stores, establish a franchise network and a Shop-in-Shop system. Most of Bóboli’s sales come from multibrand stores. But the firm’s own stores transmit the brand image directly to the consumer. This tool helps Bóboli to boost sales in the other stores. 2003 saw the first ever Bóboli stand at the Florence (Pitti Bimbo) and Valencia (FIMI) trade fairs.
