    Pedro García, feature story

    Behind the Pedro García brand name is a family business run by Mila and Pedro García. The Company is based in Elda, Alicante. It dates back to the early 1920s when the family set up a children's footwear workshop.

    The Company has enjoyed steady growth over the years. The firm has diversified its product line into men's and women's footwear. It has also opened new production centres leading to a rise in staff numbers. In 1968 the management team opted to change its strategy and focus exclusively on women's footwear. In Spain sales rose accordingly so the firm began to export its products. One of its largest markets is the USA. In this country the firm manufactures footwear for Caressa under the "Allure" brand name.

    Today the company is headed up by the third generation. Brother and sister, Pedro and Mila Garcia, work together to keep their family label at the forefront of design. With Milo concentrating on the business, Pedro heads up the design team – each season spinning his creative magic.

    Pedro García is firmly positioned at the top end of the market. It targets women who follow the latest fashion trends and look for quality. The brand consolidated position has enabled it to penetrate numerous international markets. Such markets include Asia, Australia, Germany, Italy, England, France, Belgium and Portugal.
