Pan con Chocolate was founded in Bilbao in 1998. It started out designing and producing apparel and accessories for children aged between 3 months and 12 years, with product lines for every conceivable occasion. It now has three of its own collections: babywear, children’s wear and swimwear.
It currently sells two brands, Pan con chocolate and Horchata de Chufa, both in Spain and abroad. Its domestic consolidation is largely due to its network of agents which sell its products at more than 400 multi-brand outlets.
Globalisation has been one of the firm’s major ambitions in recent years and it now exports to Mexico, where it has its own distributor. The rest of its foreign sales are to Portugal, Italy, England, Scotland, Ireland, Santo Domingo and Venezuela.
The fashion house regularly attends the twice-yearly FIMI children’s wear fair in Valencia, and also takes part in Ferias del Niño, in the Mexican city of León
