Amador Pérez is the man behind Selmark, intimates and lingerie producer which dates back to 1975, and has always considered design the backbone of its collections. Key milestones for the company include the manufacture and distribution of Nina Ricci lingerie and the launch of Diabolo, a seamless line with previously unknown cup designs.
Selmark has successfully positioned itself in the international market. Of its annual turnover, 35% comes from exports. Its collections are available in twenty-five countries. In Portugal it has a network of standalones, whilst other priority markets include Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Greece, France, Italy and Switzerland and the rest of Europe.
Selmark is also well established in Latin America, and Asia is a mid-term objective.
Since 2004, Selmark has diversified with SK, which targets the younger segment of the intimates market with fun, comfortable clothes. SK now has more than 2,000 clients in Spain, Portugal and Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America.
