Since 1995, Marshoes – based in Elche (Alicante) – has been the driving force behind footwear brand Ras. The company has a workforce of 30 direct employees and sells 300,000 pairs of shoes par year.
Ras was founded in 1988 and essentially targets urban-minded women over twenty looking for a more radical design. Although business activity focuses mainly on footwear design, production and sales, the firm also manufactures a range of accessories. Such is the excellence offered by the brand that designer Sybilla has chosen it to develop a footwear line for her Jocomomola brand.
Ras is already a global company, with 450 POS in countries like United States, Japan, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa. It also operates in France, where it has a retail corner with sister-brand Alima in Le Bon Marché. In Spain, it has 150 points of sale.
Ras is a regular at the major trade fairs, including GDS (Dusseldorf), Micam (Milan), Modacalzado (Madrid), OBUV (Moscow), WSA (Las Vegas), Fashion Access (Hong Kong) and Bread & Butter Barcelona.
