The Tous marriage couple, Salvador and Rosa, are the alma mater behind this jewellery business. The company has close connections to the world of fashion and its origins go back to a small jewellery workshop in Manresa, in the province of Barcelona. That small family firm has today become a major business with seventy points of sale throughout Spain. Tous is also present in 35 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Tous is known for incorporating new materials into jewellery items. The designs combine the traditional gold, silver and precious and semi-precious stones with more original elements such as steel, rubber, silicone or plastic.
The business has also expanded into other product areas, including its line of accessories. This line is made up mainly of bags and leather goods, which currently make up 20% of the total sales.
The brand image is based on its popular "teddy bear", offering affordable products that consumers perceive as luxury items.
