The Mallorca-based company was set up in 1982. Farrutx offered innovative and quality footwear aimed at a public with an average to high purchasing power. The firm also creates leatherwear collections, as well as bags, luggage and other accessories.
The Company manufactures 250,000 pairs of shoes a year and has its own Spanish retail network. It has more than 40 points of sale and is being present in the finest multibrand stores. The Group also has a major international presence. The exports represent 25% of the total turnover. Its principal foreign markets include the USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, China (Hong Kong and Shanghai), Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, Lebanon and Tunisia. It must be highlighted that, in terms of its international expansion, there are 60 points of sale in the United States, including Barney’s, Neiman Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue. In Europe, Farrutx has its own stores in countries such as Germany and Turkey, and its collections are also sold in such famous stores as Paris' Printemps or Harrod’s in London. The Company also participates in top international trade fairs such as GDS (Düsseldorf), MICAM (Milan), Sole Commerce (New York), MIREC (Paris) or the Hong Kong International Footwear Fair.
