    Tolo Crespi was born in Mallorca, and in 1986 he began his fashion training, undertaking courses in styling, design, pattern design and tailoring, etc. In 1989 he began to collaborate with Victorio & Lucchino. His contribution can be seen in the collection: De las de peina y volantes (With Comb and Flounces) and Esta no tiene nombre (This has no name). From 1990 onwards he began to illustrate the collections of the Seville-based duo for catalogues and the press, including Fashion Coterie (NY), Dossier Cibeles 90/91, Greca (the uniforms for the hostesses at Expo’92), etc.

    In 1991, Tolo Crespi designed the Spring-Summer collections for Hermes Govantes, and presented them that same year at the Cibeles Fashion Show. In 1992 he designed the Autumn-Winter 1993/94 collections for Lunelon, which on this occasion were presented at the Gaudí Fashion Show.

    Tolo Crespi has also been involved in the design of the costumes for various theatre productions, cultural events and the media. He has also participated in numerous galas and has organised charity and social events.

    In 1996 he set up the firm Crespi & Romero, which presented various collections at the Gaudí Fashion Show during that year and the following year. In 1997 he began his solo career, setting up his own company, Tolo Crespi.

    In 1998 he created the collection entitled Jardín de las Hadas (Faries' Garden), which he presented at the Gaudí Fashion Show. He was also selected to be presented at the Paris Prêt-à-Porter show. He then went on to present his collection 1857-1911 in Paris, which he later took to the Gaudí Fashion Show in January 1999.

    Since the year 2000 he has presented his collections to the press and at the fairs of various international fashion events, including the International Fashion Fair (Tokyo), Prêt-à-Porter (Paris), Gaudí (Barcelona), Moda Arte (Milan), Book International (Milan), Colezioni (Milan), Workshop Fair (New York) and Nupcial (Mallorca). He has also collaborated with Piel España (Madrid), the Madrid International Fashion Week and the Cibeles Fashion Show (Madrid) and The Silhouette Fashion Show (Düsseldorf).
