The designer Kina Fernández was born in Ourense, yet whilst she was still very young she moved to Paris, a city which fully awakened her interest in fashion. It was there that she began a learning process that is still continuing today. Once she had obtained a thorough grounding in fashion in Paris, she opted to settle in the city of A Coruña, where she opened a small clothes boutique. The success of her business encouraged her to start producing clothes not only for her own store, but also for other retailers. Later she decided to take the process a stage further, setting up a manufacturing industry in 1979.

Ever since she first set up her business Kina Fernández has always opted to use the very latest technology and innovations, and has surrounded herself with a team of highly skilled professionals. Today she has two principal objectives: the first is to continue with the expansion of her consolidated network of stores and corners both in Spain and abroad; and the second to expand into new international markets.
