Konrad Muhr's real name is Toni Morral. Born in Barcelona in 1965, Toni Morral studied fashion in his home city, before moving to the west coast of the United States where he carried out a study into the influence of society on fashion. There he came into contact with some of the real brains behind the fashion business.

On his return to Spain, Konrad Muhr started to work as an assistant for a major firm in Catalonia, where he was later promoted to the post of head of the design department. After several years with this company, he joined a Barcelona-based firm as their design director and head of production and sales.

Four years later, Toni Morral took the decision to set up his own firm, Konrad Muhr, taking some time to "hunt down and invent trends" for himself and other companies. Today he is one of the major attractions at the Gaudí Fashion Show, and he is a member of the Fashion Capital Advisory Committee.

In May 2002 he opened his first store in Borne, one of the most avant-garde areas in Barcelona today. It is much more than just a store, where customers can find catwalk and collection items as well as unique garments which have been numbered and signed by the designer himself.
