Her new Control Line swimwear is designed to mould the body.
For spring-summer 2010, swimwear brand Dolores Cortés has put in check all those little complexes with the new range Control Line. Thorough research on pattern design and fabric has made it possible to sculpt the body so that the wearer can even appear to have gone down a size or two.
The collection combines practicality with the latest trends in swimwear. Art Nouveau is a sinuous line with draped structures and plant-inspired prints in green, mauve and black. Saint Tropez goes for a sailor style, with red, white and blue stripes and plain black. The chic-est line is Manhattan, with plain-coloured jewel swimsuits and bikinis, decorated with pleating, draping and natal trim.
After 50 years in the business, Dolores Cortés is a household name and a regular at Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week and FIMI, where it presents its children’s line DC Kids.
The brand operates in major Spanish cities at multi-brand retailers, has four shops of its own, 54 brand shops and direct sale at department stores. France, Italy, Russia, Norway, Mexico and Japan are among its key global markets.
