Lille and Toulouse are the latest locations for the eco footwear brand.
El Naturalista is engaged in an ambitious growth strategy based on retail corners and shop-in-shops. After its latest openings in Lyons (France) and the German cities of Berlin, Hamburg and Cologne, it has opted to step up its presence in France.
True to its commitment to sustainable fashion, the brand has opted for small shoe-shops with a tradition of more personalised service, rather than mass-market points of sale.
On December 19, it opened a shop-in-shop in the famous old shoe-shop La Botte Chantilly, at 22, Rue de la Grande Chaussée, in Lille. The premises, decorated with the modular system El Naturalista favours, make use of its corporate white and green, in keeping with the brand’s ecological credentials.
Ethic et Chic, created in 2004 and a pioneer in the sale of ethical fashions in Toulouse, has also made room for an El Naturalista corner in its shops at 22, Rue Peyrolières and 29, Rue Léon Gambetta.
El Naturalista was created just seven years ago and its eco footwear is already renowned on international markets. Its commitment to research and comfort are apparent in both the materials it uses and its innovative production techniques. Its designs are now sold in 45 countries and exports account for 90% of sales. In 2008, it turned over €29 mill. and in 2009 hopes to grow a further 9%.
