Spanish brands join in the lovers’ celebration with a romantic selection of unique designs and special collections.
It’s Valentine’s Day again and Spanish brands are joining in the celebration with special collections. From jewellery in the shape of that universal lovers’ icon, the heart, to bags laden with passion, and even a series of urban sneakers, there are designs to celebrate every kind and style of love.
St Valentine’s Day turns hearts into the most exquisite jewellery. Joaquín Berao reproduces this symbol of passion in Touché d´amour, a luxury line designed in white and yellow gold inset with black and white diamonds.
Tous goes for a more naïve version of the same emblem and its signature bear engraved with a declaration of love. The collection includes gold, diamond and silver pendants and charm bracelets.
Masriera has designed a series of modernist butterflies for those who have been struck by Cupid’s arrows. Seven designs reproduce the delicate and sensual morphology of these insects in an Art Nouveau version. Made from yellow gold with diamond and colourful precious stones, including quartz, ruby, sapphire, emerald or amethyst, Butterflies in your tummy is a versatile collection of brooches and pendants for any occasion.
Lupo offers its own icon to celebrate, and the delicate leather of its Abanico “fan” bag takes on a gorgeous shade of poppy red for the occasion. This object of desire is one of a series of bags, belts and small lather articles created as an exclusive tribute to love.
Mango has launched a selection of articles for lovers in red. Its Cupid bag has a heart silhouette, while brooches and necklaces pick up on the same symbol, alongside shoes, dresses and trousers for ardent Aphrodites.
PrettyBallerinas has two romantic Valentine’s designs. Rosario love hearts is a deep-cut shoe in black suede with snake- and leopard-skin print and red hearts. The Menorcan brand also offers a new way to present a rose, with its Marilyn Spotty pony red flower, a ballet flat with a red rose on the toe.
In its most casual version, Munich has created shoes which combine pink, burgundy and dusky polka dots with romantic floral prints and luxury finishes for its Goal, Acropol and Roc designs.
Keen to do its bit, Gioseppo is offering an original Valentine’s hat with hearts to its online customers.
