The jewellery designer has just opened a very personal outlet, named Julia y Belén.
Original designs made from unusual gems have always been a feature of the exquisite jewellery by the Spanish designer Belén Bajo, which has meant that her work has been one of the most personal in the world of jewellery. This same bold and special spirit is evoked in Bajo’s first boutique, located in Calle Goya, right in the heart of the Salamanca district in Madrid.
Named Julia y Belén Joyas – in homage to the designer’s mother – the friendly space is an extension of Bajo’s personality. The harmonious combination of Nordic style furniture, vintage décor, and, of course, her exceptional designs create a warm and stylish space.
Belén Bajo’s latest collections, both for men and women, can be found in this new outlet, including the range created this summer from a very unusual gem, the drusy agate, whose golden reflection is achieved by putting it through a strange metalization process. The designer’s customary pieces made from gems such as coral, jade and volcanic lava, as well as her unique wedding ring collection are also available here.
