They will present their latest products at the fair which will take place in Hong Kong between 12 and 14 November.
The Cosmoprof Asia Fair will be celebrated at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre between 12 and 14 November. It is the most important professional event in Asia for the perfumes, cosmetics, hairdressing and personal hygiene sectors.
The last edition of the fair attracted 37,078 professional visitors – 56 per cent of which came from outside Hong Kong – and 1,265 exhibitors from thirty-six different countries. Spain has participated in every edition of the fair since its creation. On this occasion, thirty-seven Spanish companies from the beauty sector will take part.
Among the participating companies from the professional cosmetic skin care sector, Germaine de Capuccini, Skeyndor, Ainhoa, Keenwell, Casmara, and Atache stand out. Lakmé, Lendan, Montibello, and Hipertín will represent the professional haircare sector, and the company Sorisa will be taking part on behalf of the aesthetic appliances sector.
Hong Kong is one of the main markets within the Asian-Pacific area for Spanish companies from the beauty sector. This is due to its high per capita income, widespread use of cosmetic products, its status as a centre for re-exporting to Southeast Asia and continental China, and its free port. Overall, Spanish exports of perfumes and cosmetic products to Hong Kong rose to a total of 14 million euros during 2007, with a year-on-year growth of 9 per cent.
