The swimwear designer creates 17 designs for the Spanish brand’s accessories chain.
“Guillermina Baeza for Mango Touch” is the result of the partnership between Mango and swimwear designer Guillermina Baeza. With a total of 17 designs (15 bikinis and two swimsuits), it will go on sale in March at a selection of Mango Touch stores in Spain, France, Italy and Portugal. It will also be available in some of the “Touch” sales points in Mango shops in Germany, Austria, UK, Czech Republic, Switzerland and Turkey, and can be bought online from Mango shop in Europe.
Divided into three lines, “Guillermina Baeza for Mango Touch” is aimed at an active and modern young woman. The more mysterious side of nature and delicate fairies inspire the romantic Enchanted Garden, with its small floral prints and polka dots. Lady navy offers a very feminine, retro look which takes us back to the 1950s. Its tie prints use mainly red, navy and white. Finally, Nostalgia includes plain and neutral colours, aqua green and coral which, combined with a botanical floral print, makes for an exquisite, naïve line.
Mango opened its first shop on the Passeig de Gràcia in Barcelona in 1984 and now has more than 2,400 shops in 107 countries. It is Spain’s second biggest fashion exporter, and its concept is based on the strategic alliance of a quality product, in tune with the latest trends, and an affordable price.
Guillermina Baeza has previously worked alongside other Spanish brands, including Neck & Neck, Fosco and Hoss Intropia. Its collections are sold at multi-brand sales points in Spain and around the world, particularly in France, Italy, Portugal and Mexico.
