New corners for the firm’s ladies’ collection at Britain’s House of Fraser.
Caramelo is continuing its international expansion plans with a big push in the British market. Only just over a year has passed since it opened its showroom on Regent Street in London’s golden mile and now the brand is back with a new announcement: an agreement for the opening of corners for its women’s line at the House of Fraser department store.
The agreement will initially involve the opening of 4 corners in Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Norwich, but a string of other cities will soon be added to the list, which is to include 25 POS by the end of 2012.
Created in 1849, House of Fraser is quite the institution in England. It has 62 department stores throughout the UK and Ireland, with a total sales area of almost 5 sqm.
In addition to the UK, the Spanish firm’s plans include the strengthening of its position in both the European Market, where France, Germany and Russia are its main priorities, and emerging markets such as Asia and the Middle East.
Since it started making its famous trenchcoats at the end of the 60s, Caramelo has gradually created a chic yet urban image for itself with 800 sale points in countries such as France, Belgium, Portugal, the UK, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, Finland, Greece, Cyprus, Russia, Andorra, Switzerland, Sweden, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, China, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, Egypt, Mexico, Panama, Gabon and Angola.
