Ailanto takes its bridal fashion stateside

The Ailanto brothers consolidate their alliance with Urban Outfitters in the group’s new bridal wear chain, BHLDN.

The American adventure of Ailanto’s designers, Iñaki and Aitor Muñoz, continues. Their Autumn/Winter 2011/12 collection was launched in a selection of Urban Outfitters’ Anthropologie stores in the States and the UK as well as on its official website, and they are now extending their alliance with the fashion group via a selection of dresses at its new bridal fashion chain, BHLDN.

A number of the long gowns that Ailanto presented in its latest Spring/Summer 2012 collection, which was inspired by the world of contemporary dance, will feature in BHDLN’s selection in both its US shops and its on-line store as from February. The collection’s diaphanous creations in ivory and pastel tones wed perfectly with the bohemian, vintage style of the North-American chain.

Urban Outfitters, one of the largest fashion distribution groups in the world, continues in this waywith a successful expansion plan that has resulted in growth rates of more than 20% over recent years. Apart from its newly incorporated bridal wear label, BHLDN, the group also operates in the market under its Anthropologie, Free People, Terrain and Leifsdottir brands.

Founded in Barcelona in 1992, Ailanto’s style is renowned for its artistic prints and longitudinal patterns.
